...to Learning Technologies. Did I mention that last time? Yes I did. Sorry for the repetition but it has to be done. The event is one of the biggest fixtures in the L&D calendar and the more who attend the better. We're at stand 112 and you can also come to the tweet-ups we'll be holding daily in the social learning cafe. You know it makes sense. Ok, that's enough. I may mention it next week too, but only a one-liner.

I've just booked tickets for a talk entitled ' Do I look happy to you?' at the Watershed in Bristol. It's free and takes place on 9 February at 6pm. I recommend you come along if you are local to the area. The press release's first line is 'The ability to accurately perceive emotion in other people is important in social interactions.' To be honest though, the title of the talk was enough to get my interest. I often get told to 'smile', and it gets a bit annoying sometimes. I'm perfectly happy most of the time, but it doesn't always manifest itself in a smile! So this talk is right up my street.

Big on the TZ agenda at the moment is having a good look at the member survey, and using it to help shape the future of the site for the next one, two, perhaps even three years. It's fascinating stuff, and the changes will be there for all to see v soon.
