Even though the internet economy has been in turmoil, 90% of British businesses still regard an e-business strategy as essential. These findings were the results of a survey conducted by Metrius Europe, the business consulting arm of KPMG Consulting.
Clive Pinder, the chief executive of Metrius Europe, stated that many companies have benefitted by waiting before making a decision to launch an e-business strategy. He felt that this would give these companies time to learn from the disasters that occurred last year.
Those companies that are most likely to succeed through their e-business strategies will be those that implement internet technologies as an integral part of their business strategy.
