I'm looking for a teambuilding venue for 12 people - south of York, on the 14th & 15th June.
Ideally we require a large room and some space outdoors, the location to be close to some local activities (e.g. paintballing) and there to be a bit of life in the evening !

I don’t know how far south of York you want to go, or how much night life you really want your participants to have available (!), but Sheffield has both paintballing and night life a-plenty and all the hotels locally have facilities.
But best of all, if you can forego the pleasures of the flesh and paint, I use Brookfield Manor in Hathersage which is a dedicated training centre for both in-doors and out-doors pursuits, some nice pubs in Hathersage (down a country track, which is not subject to public highway regulations as far as I know, if you want to drive back after a jar or two) if that is important and beautiful countryside, and a very client-centered staff. Accommodation is only ‘OK’ (sound proofing seems to me to be a problem in some rooms unless you all choose to have a late night!) but the food is excellent and the facilities are excellent.
