What;s the cause?
Hi Allen:
Since Anger is an emotion that is triggered by some stimulus, I would ask what is causing the anger in the first place- is at reaction to change, for example? If so, then a book like Who Moved My Cheese? is fantastic.
I would not recommend Anger Management courses for my management- its not a sexy course they need, its help in dealing with communication and leading people.
Find out the cause and go from there. The answer will be simplier than spending money on a course that will only deal with the symptoms and not the cause.
And that’s my opinion!
Good luck…
Realistic Agreement
I agree with Liam’s comments. I have been on anger management cse’s which do little for proactive approaches to such problems. The best way to deal with anger is to avoid it in the first place. It is far easier to steer away from trouble than to deal with it when it arises. Apart from that, if you still feel it is an option, try the local prison service, youth service but be careful.
