Skillsoft, an elearning provider, has negotiated a multi-million pound partnership to extend its business in China and Russia.

Ambow - which provides elearning technologies and education resources in China - will become SkillSoft's distributor, targeting Chinese business and government, and will provide organisations with localised content and structure in simplified Chinese.

SkillSoft's Russian library will also grow from 85 courses to more than 130 over the next 12 months as part of a deal with Noviy Disk, a leading developer, producer, publisher and distributor of software and games in the Russian-speaking territories.
