The Centre for Labour Market Studies at Leicester University is currently working with a number of overseas partners to study training practices in different countries.
In particular, the survey will examine the level of training activities, budgetary issues, out-sourcing, training impact, training and strategic issues, the extent of competence- based training, training methods and the use of IT.
In addition, we also explore more complex issues such as how management practices impact of training activities and the concept of 'high performance workplace practices' (HPWP).
