I'm a 33 yr old IT Training Manager, recently moved into the financial sector. I have 7 years IT training experience, hold IPD and IITT memberships and manage a team of 3 IT Trainers. I'm looking for a 'next step' qualification route either specifically in Training Management or with a broader HR/People Development/Training mix. I have info on IITT courses and the Leicester CLMS open learning Diploma and Degree courses. The contents of these are interesting, but as activist learner I'd prefer to do something part time or 'short stint' attendance rather than open learning, and ideally obtain a final qualification within 1-2 years. Has anybody out there been in this position and can offer some pointers - I'm suprised that I can't seem to find much but perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place! Thanks in advance for anyone's time to reply.

Diploma
Woodland Grange, here in Leamington Spa offer a Diploma in Training Management which is dual accredited by the CIPD and Institute of Management. This way at the conclusion of the prorgamme you have two qualifications instead of one.
