The inaugural conference of the British Learning Association (BLA) takes place next month.
The BLA was formed from the recent amalgamation of the British Association for Open Learning (BAOL), and the Forum for Technology in Training.
Under the working title 'Advancing Techniques and Technologies for Learning', the BLA Conference is designed to bring together professionals in all sectors of learning, development, education and training.
Speakers include Dr Peter Honey, Charles Jennings, Head of Global Learning for Reuters, and Prof David Birchall, Director of Research & Educational Technologies for Henley Management College.
Alison West, Chief Executive of the National Extension College and Neil Lasher, Managing Director of Trainer1 will open the conference with a session entitled 'Adult Learning - does anyone know what they're talking about?'
The conference takes place on March 31 at the Royal Institution, London.
