The US federal appeals court has overturned recommendations to break-up Microsoft. Additionally, it criticised the judge who made the ruling for making offensive comments about Microsoft officials outside the courtroom. A new judge will now be called in to decide the company’s fate. The court did state that they did agree in part with the original judgement but ordered the case to be sent back to a lower court.
