Survey results of best practice for implementing e-learning

A recent in-depth research study was conducted by Brandon Hall, PhD and Jacques LeCavalier covering 11 domestic and foreign companies into the success of e-learning. This study covered issues such as on-line employee training, orientation and education, leadship, vision and culture of organisations and areas of content, technology and human resources.

The survey searched for organisations that they felt could act as potential world-class examples in the implementation of e-learning. The businesses that came out of this survey were Cisco Systems, IBM, Dell Computer Corp, GTE, Air Canada, the International Revenue Service, Rockwell Collins, Shell International Exploration & Production, Ernst & Young, Unipart, and the US Navy.
