I am trying to identify potential training resources that cover the following subjects:
Company politics - identifying political issues, assessing their implications and using an appropriate approach.
Perseverance - overcoming resistance and personal setbacks, developing energy, drive and enthusiasm.
Sizing people up - identifying strengths and weaknesses, predicting how someone will act in a situation.
Stress management - identifying potential causes, reacting calmly to stressful comments or situations.
Can anyone recommend any books or other written materials that address these particular issues?
Thanks in anticipation,
Simon Smith

There is an inventory called the organisation change orientation scale which I’m sure they sell. If you can’t find it, get back to me at martin@schmalenbach.freeserve.co.uk
I also have an inventory, similar to Myers Briggs, which is good for sizing people up (also good in team building & looking at stress) – although no qualification is needed you do need to be familiar with the Jungian model to get the most from it.
