Air Passengers can now ‘fly’ the internet

default-16x9

British Airways are currently testing a system on one of their planes that will allow passengers to use the internet to search and send e-mails whilst travelling with the company.

This is due to progress that has been made to their in-flight communications and they are hoping that this system will be introduced to all their long-haul planes by 2002.

British Airways are hoping to become the first to offer a global in-flight internet system whereby passengers can access or send their e-mails, or surf the internet via their laptops that they will be able to plug into seat-back telephones.
