Aberdeen-based Robert Gordon University (RGU) has become the first Scottish university to offer courses through UK eUniversities Worldwide (UKeU).
RGU has more than 1200 students studying online degree courses and the university said it decided to join with UKeU to extend its global reach.
From next month RGU will offer eight post-graduate courses through UKeU.
Bill McIntosh, Vice Principal and Dean of the Aberdeen Business School at RGU, said that more than 10% of the university's students were now taking postgraduate courses online.
"Through UKeU’s global market reach we can provide virtual learning opportunities to students who want a UK university degree but prefer to stay and work in their home country," he added.
