The European Commission's review of employment within EU states has been published this month. The report examines national policies in the light of agreed employment policies across member states.
In general the report is probably kinder to the UK than to other member states, a move which should not be seen as surprising given the UK's high profile on employment matters within the EU.
The report is a lengthy document of some 189 pages, available to view or download in .pdf format. The first part of the document gives generalised EU employment data, whilst the second half gives data specific to each EU state.
