I am an MA student needing data for a dissertation. I should appreciate information from anyone who has experience of departmental convergence and its effects on first line managers.
My experience is specifically within learning resources in HE, but initially I would consider similar patterns from industry/retail.
Effects of the process on individuals becoming managers for the first time, effects on teams, training and development needs. Use of transferable skills, particularly women.
If anyone has any experiences they would like to share, I should like to hear about them.
