Building society Leeds and Holbeck has rolled out company-wide e-learning to all its 58 branches.
The system follows fears that staff in outlying regions were not receiving the same training opportunities as their colleagues in some of the closer branches to the society's head office in Leeds.
The new system allows all 900 staff access to the same training courses for all, so even staff in the Leeds and Holbeck Gibraltar branch will benefit from the system.
The e-learning facility, provided by e2train, will run alongside existing classroom training.
Training and development advisor for Leeds and Holbeck, Julie Chilvers, said that the new system would give all staff consistent training.
"It means that staff in the branches do not have to be away from the office for a full day. It provides a cost-effective, modern and speedy solution to our training challenges," she added.
