How to Search

default-16x9

In total, this site delivers access to over 3 million pages of information, resources and services. No single search product is yet capable of delivering a comprehensive, intelligible search across all these pages, so we've build a range of powerful devices to search within defined areas.

  • If you know the general subject area, please use the A to Z Index.

  • To find news stories on any topic, please use the powerful News Search facility

  • There are separate search engines for Trainers and Consultants, for Training Product Suppliers, for Courses and Events and for Training and Meeting Venues

I’d love to see a single Search box available on each page that searches the whole site. This is common practice on most site now, particularly the information rich ones like TrainingZONE. The Search that is provided is really an Advanced Search – only really useful if I’m really sure I know what I want.

Thanks for your comments – this facility is on its way as we speak and will be live on the site over the next month or so.

    4. good practice in learning centres
Could fellow facilitators, or students who study in a learning centre give me some ideas on what they consider is good practice in a learning centre. I would be grateful if you could also give some examples of any experiences you have had that demonstrate what you consider to be bad practice. without naming names or places obviously.

      many thanks felicity
