Keyboard skills

default-16x9

I would like a keyboard skills course which lasts about half a day. Do you know of anyone who does this and how much it would cost? I can run the course in-house as there are a few of us who want to do it. Thanks.

  1. Computer-based keyboard skills training
Hi Nicola – I learned touch typing by using a computer-based programme. There are some good, easy and fun-to-use packages available on CD Rom e.g. Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and one which I think is called simply Typing Tutor (you can probably get these from PC World or the like). Unless you and/or your colleagues have an aversion to this method of learning, I can recommend it! It also has the advantage that you can each learn and practice when it suits you and, for the initial outlay, your organisation has the resource to use for as many employees as needed.
(Hope there are no typo errors in this message!)
