Having established a training and development department from scratch a year ago in a busy sales environment I am now looking to introduce KPI's to demonstrate overall training benefit to the organisation. I have used absence, labour turnover and cost of recruitment before. As we know it is easier to influence someone if you speak their language and I wondered if any of you out there had any experience of KPI's that convinced a particularly tough audience!?
KPI's are outlined for individual training programmes on an ongoing basis. I simply need some that cover the entire aspects of the training function.

Thank you very much

Something to consider?
Melody,
I am not sure if this will help you but it is always worth talking about succession planning. There is tremendous scope within this topic and it does affect the organisation in many ways. The benefits to all should be plain to see!
