The New Opportunities Fund (NOF) is the most recently established Lottery distribution board and one of the areas which the Fund will develop is services to publish information digitally over the Internet

The NOF has £50 million of National Lottery money available for projects which will make information available in a digital format. Projects will take information and resources, whether they are in the form of text, film, sound recordings, pictures or photos, and turn them into electronic form.

Their site will link to all the web based projects that are funded through this grant programme. In the future the site will become a comprehensive directory of all New Opportunities Fund supported digital information and material.

The NOF looking for new and exciting ways of using technology to enable people to access and learn to use information.
