Workshop for up to 100

default-16x9

I am in the process of designing what can loosely be described as a workshop. Up to 100 people for a day in a predominantly sedentary environment. I generally design things with considerably more action and particiaption so this is a slightly new area for me. I have some ideas on how to liven the process up and have attended a Fred Pryor day so have some experience of what other organisations consider reasonable. I would be interested to hear from anyone who had a memorable expereince at one of these events or who has experience of designing them in a way that ensure the audience stay awake.

Thanks

  1. 100 people owning and really getting value from a day or so!
    Christine,

    Christine,

We can show you some amazing ways to get all 100 really involved in a process and ensure that at the end of it they have value, the company has value and there is a complete record of all the thinking and decision making in the day.
Please call me and have a look at http://www.pinpoint.uk.com (our first attempt!) and in a couple of weeks when the new site is up and running. My number is 01865 400777

Anything that’s action learning orientated works well with this size of group. It takes a brave soul to let loose that size of group and allow them to work together, and have confidence that you can “direct” proceedings. I go for activities that allow group members to wander around within a specified time frame, as well as more structured work where small groups work together. Have you looked at the use of theatre for this size group?
The venue is incredibly important, for space, acoustics and belonging
    Good luck
