I am trying to find a training provider in the Merseyside/North West area who specialises in the training of basic IT skills and MS Office 97 applications for people with Dyslexia. Can anyone out there help?

I don’t know of suppliers, but have you seen http://www.dyxi.co.uk/ ? It’s a contact site for people with dyslexia and they have a message section. It’s quite new so they haven’t got much on business suppliers yet.
It might be worth contacting charities like Action for Blind People http://www.afbp.org/ who run IT training courses for the visually impaired from their Preston centre, or RNIB who can probably put you in touch with someone.
