Is there a product out there which can be used to build personnel profiles along with training requirements that will assist in the administration of training and scheduling. I have a team of 70+ across Europe with various needs and would like a product that is aimed at the Training Department needs.

Training & personnel software
Hi Jo
There are a number of useful tools available on the market, like Registrar Express and TQM-P, designed for training administration. I am always cautious about recommending stand-alone applications without knowing what other systems you use, what you hope to achieve from the solution, and what growth plans the company has. Feel free to give me a call on 01543 258314 or e-mail to david.smith@copraxis.co.uk
Kind regards

My last company used this system and it was exellent
The company I used to work for used a system called ‘Source’ produced by a company called ‘Ceridian’ who I believe were based in London.
We had 195 employees, and their personnel information was kept on the Source database, tied into our recruitment and payroll software.
The particular application was called ‘Training Manager’ and allowed for the scheduling and recording of all training events with restricted access. I don’t have a contact name or number but if you are interested I could try to find out for you.

Source
Helen is quite correct that Source is marketed by Ceridian – or at least by their UK subsidiary Centrefile. It is their current in-house HRM/Payroll system. It’s designed as a full personnel solution (including a training admin module) rather than a stand-alone training management tool.
