TAP has today announced the launch of its Foundation Degree in Learning & Development Practice.
The degree is based on completion of 11 modular TAP courses covering the spectrum of L&D skills, plus work-based projects. It is entirely and exclusively delivered by The Training Foundation under a formal Partnership Agreement with the University of Chester, which will award the FD to graduates at an awards event held at Chester Cathedral.
The Degree is a watershed for the L&D sector because, for the first time, it is now possible for the UK’s 150,000+ trainers to achieve recognition of their professional skills at University Degree level.
It means that employers wishing to offer their L&D practitioners a career pathway and professional development, now have a viable means of so doing.
