2015-TheLearningAwards_logo_black_0

On Thursday 5 Feb, the best L&D professionals in the business congregated at the Dorchester Hotel for the 19th annual Learning Awards, a celebration of the greatest and most innovative training projects, departments and people from all over the UK and in a few cases, the rest of the world. Organised by the Learning and Performance Institute, the event has swiftly become know in many circles as the 'L&D Oscars'.

This year's awards was hosted by TV presenter Claudia Winkleman and featured a record number of entries, as managing director Ed Monk noted:

"With a record number of entries this year, almost 300, to be a finalist is in itself an outstanding achievement. I hope that your organisations are proud of you and the real impact you have had on the performance of the business. Tonight, there are no winners and losers. You are all ‘the best of the best’.”

The much-coveted Colin Corder award was this year won by corporate learning technologies pioneer Elliott Masie, head of the MASIE Center and the Learning Consortium.
