TrainingZONE – live from the Dome

default-16x9

You may have noticed that our usual flow of news stories onto TrainingZone is somewhat reduced - that's because we're all at the Dome with a group of members and guests.

As well as a good day out, we're here to review the training related zones and full reports will be featuring on the site over the next few hours, complete with photographs.

So, what do members of the TrainingZONE party make of the experience?

"It's so big."

"There are just too many sound bites. The messages are overwhelming because of the sheer number of small bite activities and panels."

"The surprise room at the end of the Learning Zone is the nicest part of the whole show. Take your time - it's really restful."

"Too many screen effects, not enough real interactivity."

"There's so much to see - you just can't do it in a day."

"We really liked Mind, Talk, Play, Faith, Home Planet."

"There's noise everywhere - it's like being constantly distracted."

"The quiet spaces - in Faith, and in Rest - are just so different."

Overall, its busy, dynamic, distracting, overwhelming, confusing, bite-sized, huge, chaotic, welcoming ... as the current advertising campaign suggests - One Amazing Day.

Watch these pages for some more serious reviews of the content of the Dome. But if you're visiting in the near future, a few recommendations:

- arrive by boat as the journey is fascinating,
- don't try to see too much,
- wear comfy shoes!
- be prepared to lose everyone else in your party; arrange a meeting place,
- don't miss out on some of the quieter exhibits
- don't miss the main arena show!
