PressZone is TrainingZone's dedicated area for industry news on training products, providers and suppliers. Every now and again we take a look at what is happening there, to highlight major developments.

This month's announcements:

  • Video Arts and the AA use their expertise in blended learning to develop the AA's business learning centres.

  • Edisus and the DTI Bangor-based e-learning specialist, Edisus is working with the Small Business Service (SBS), an Executive Agency of the Department of Trade & Industry. The company’s Enterprise Development training package is being used by the SBS at a number of events throughout England to promote training resources available for entrepreneurs.

  • Trans4mation and Ibility Trans4mation is working with the Swedish company Ibility to deliver the Ibility programme in the UK. The programme is a bottom-up programme for a mix of online and one-to-one coaching that empowers whole organisations in self-development.

  • Corous survey Corous, the Open University's online arm, has completed a survey on the uptake of online learning.

  • Trans4mation has provided a collection of Top Tips on learning, knowledge management and a range of other topics. They are also offering a taste of their work on a CIPD open course: they will be delivering two courses Developing the Strategic Manager, and The Psychology of Personal Development (three times each) on CIPD’s behalf during 2002.
