Announce a call for presenters
For the Sixth Annual European Mentoring Conference
To be held at Robinson College, Cambridge, England
On Thursday & Friday 25-26th November 1999

This conference is for:
® those with corporate responsibility for mentoring
® those researching and writing about it
® mentors themselves.

The conference will include plenary speakers from mainland Europe and the UK, and this call invites you to propose a workshop in one or more of the following streams:

1. corporate or scheme case studies: distillations of experience from one or more organisations in the private, public or voluntary sectors
2. research based papers: where the focus is on learning about mentoring processes and outcomes, from some kind of systematic study
3. hands-on sessions: where participants could expect to be highly active during the session in discussion or in guided experience.

You are asked to send a proposal for a one hour session on a single sheet of paper, outlining the title, a brief synopsis of your content, the process for the session, which stream it will be in, a paragraph about you, and your contact details to:

Please let us have your proposal by Monday 3rd May 1999. We will notify you of whether your paper has been accepted by mid-June. The full fee for the conference will be c £400, and speakers whose papers are accepted will be able to participate in the conference for a reduced rate of £200, or £100 if they only attend for the day of their session. Papers for inclusion in the conference documentation should be sent to Helen Trussler at AMED, 14-15 Belgrave Square, LONDON, SW1X 8PS by Friday 29th October 1999. Alternatively, please bring 30 copies of your material for distribution at
the conference.
