To deliver learning applications over the Web, you must first understand the concept of bandwidth. Simply defined, bandwidth is the amount of information that a communications link can carry over a given amount of time. Bandwidth can be compared to a water pipe: the larger the pipe, the greater the volume of water that can flow through.
