default-16x9

A seminar is being held at the University of Surrey on 21st March, which will highlight the considerable opportunities available to women who want to successfully manage both their professional career and their families using the Internet. Hosting the seminar will be the flexible working company SwiftWork.com whose own website is for those – particularly women professionals – who want to locate work, potential employers and access career advice and help.

Speakers at the seminar will include Managing Director Lynnette Swift, herself a mother of two boys; Jan Shepherd who runs adult re-training programmes at Surrey University and who will provide a European perspective on return to work programmes for women, Diana Wolfin who teaches women in management at Westminster University and Dame Rennie Fritchie who is the Commissioner for Public Appointments and who will tell the audience about the opportunities open to women on public committees.

Other speakers will provide advice and information about how to locate family-friendly employers and about how to set up in business for yourself. Workshops, which cover job hunting via the Internet, making the most of your skills and abilities as well as other relevant subjects will also be part of the event so that delegates come away well able to make use of all that they have heard to benefit themselves in their careers as well as care for their families.
Tickets, price just £20 to include lunch and refreshments, are available from SwiftWork Limited by calling 01580-201661, faxing 01580-201660 or email: enquiries@swiftwork.com. Website: http://www.swiftwork.com
