Welcome to StaffPay, a managed HR service offered for HR Zone members through our partnership with StaffPay.net.
If the administration and running a payroll function is to expensive or time-consuming for your organisation, StaffPay provides the answer. Using a secure server, all your staff payroll details are stored and processed through the StaffPay system. StaffPay then calculate the necessary PAYE, NI, SSP and SMP contributions each month, will update your payroll records and send the payslips to you to print.
Once you've registered to access the site by clicking on enter, then register for free and access information pages, the process for using StaffPay is quite straightforward:
- You join staffpay.net by going to join/start
- They agree a price (from £60 startup + £1.25p per payslip monthly or 4-weekly) and set up a payroll for you
- They send you a CD with security controls for access to your payroll
- You enter the information about the people to be paid through the staffpay.net website
- For each pay run you tell the system to set up the run for you
- You enter any variations for that pay run (all the permanent data is kept for you on the database and you only need to enter differences)
- All the payroll calculations are done by the system
Reports and pay slips are put into a print file for you to download.
Staffpay will update calculations in line with any new legislation that comes into force. They'll also take into account Tax Credits, Student Loans, Court Orders and the Minimum Wage, among other legislation and can calculate reports for the Working Time Directive if required. If you wish, payments can also be sent direct to the Inland Revenue. The BACS system can also be used to arrange payments. For security purposes, none of the data you enter to staffpay.net is stored on the web, but is held on StaffPay's own web-server located within their offices.
