Learning at Work Day is designed to encourage employers to offer more training and development opportunities to their staff. The co-ordinators, the Campaign for Learning, say that more organisations than ever will be involved this year. Chief Executive for the Campaign for Learning, Bill Lucas, says that "the day is set to double in size, as it has every year since it started".
The Campaign for Learning provide free publicity materials and resources to help participating organisations make the most of their day of learning. This year they include, a coaching skills survey and e-mail tips, free access to Belbin’s on-line team roles diagnostic and 5 minute tasters on the web of Ilex (Integrated Learning Experience) courses. There are also discounts on selected publications and courses booked on the day from leading training providers such as MaST, Kaizen and MindGym. Employers can register to receive free planning and publicity materials by calling 0117 966 7755 or visit the Campaign’s website for more information.
