How to run your own online workshops, briefings and services

An online workshop is a useful and simple online communications tool for involving other people from different locations in team meetings, briefing presentations, discussions and training sessions. You can use it to present your ideas or to facilitate ideas and creative thinking. For trainers and other providers, you can promote your own materials and services to this focused audience. We have prepared some Notes of Guidance for Workshop Leaders. People can participate in your workshop in two ways:

  • Live partipation: by listing all forthcoming Workshops in our workshop diary and notifying people in advance be email, a live audience will arrive when you run the online workshop.

  • Post-event follow-up: a far larger number of people will read the workshop transcript later, and your contact information, etc can be provided for follow-up enquiries.

    Pricing:

    1. To offer a public online workshop to the TrainingZONE audience on a subject of your choice, just contact the editor with your proposal. We will list and promote your workshop throughout TrainingZONE. There is no charge for public workshops.

    2. To book a private online workshop for your own use the cost is £50 per hour (minimum one hour) and this includes a copy of the full transcript. Please email the editor with the date and time of your booking, and your contact details.

    3. For companies wishing to establish their own online training facility including unlimited workshops, document downloads and message boards, we offer a Training Providers Partner Page service offering a fully serviced, own-branded solution to running your interactive business online. Costs are from £3,500. Please email the sales team to discuss your requirements.

    4. To run a promotional online event offering your advice or services, the cost is from £350. We will promote your event to the TrainingZONE audience. Please email the sales team and we will make all the necessary arrangements.


    New ! Online events with PowerPoint and Document Sharing and Telephone Conferencing

    We've just launched a new facility enabling presenters to display their resource materials online (with or without a charge) AND a hold a simultaneous live telephone conference with their audience. This is a chargeable facility with the price dependent on the audience size and the duration of the event. Events can be advertised in the Courses and Events Directory so that participants are invoiced before they take part in the event.
