Training managers are missing out on financial support from the Government, according to the people behind next month's Learning Technologies Conference and Exhibition.
At a recent online meeting of company training managers Donald Chair, chairman of the conference, said that 93% had not taken Government funding for training in the last four years, because they were not aware of what was available.
Mr Taylor said that 86% of training managers at the meeting didn't know about Employer Training Pilots (ETPs) and 50% were unaware of Modern Apprenticeships.
'Money and support for skills development are available for companies in far greater amounts than in the past, but there are many different programmes and ways to attract it,' he said.
Learning Technologies 2004 is to include a panel discussion called 'Taking Advantage of Government Initiatives'.
