Update the IT skills of yourself and/or your key staff and the ESF will pay for 50% of the training costs to be paid for you. But hurry, the money runs out in June.
The new MaP>IT scheme (funded by the EEC) is open to people in:-
- Yorkshire and Humberside
- Norfolk
- Suffolk
- Bedfordshire
- Cambridgeshire
- Essex
- Hertfordshire
- Peterborough
- and most of the London Boroughs
Applicants, who may be SME’s, employees or the self-employed, choose from hundreds of courses that could match their needs as well as complimenting any existing IT skills. Options include evening, weekend, Internet and disk-based home study courses, so there’s no need to worry about work and study clashing.
MaP>IT, part of the National Training Organisation, covers 50% of the training costs to a maximum of £1,250 per head. The employee, employer or self-employed match the funding themselves, through their local TEC or by another funding method.
An information pack is available on request from one of the Partners in the scheme. The Partners make no profit from the MaP>IT initiative, and only part of their costs are covered. They donate the balance of their time as their method of contributing to supporting 40+ professionals to get the most from what’s available.
