Multinational Action Learning at Work

As someone who is about to embark on a two day accelerated learning course, I was drawn to this book by action learning appearing in the title. My interest was whetted still further by the final paragraph on the back page ‘... provides a snapshot of what Action Learning is, how it works and illustrates how it can be applied to a whole range of industries to produce effective outcomes.’
What a bitter disappointment opening the book turned out to be. There is no explanation about action learning, no explanation of how it works and no useful illustrations. All it seems to contain is a list of companies who have used IMC for MBAs and other management qualifications. In other words it is a piece of advertising masquerading as a book. The layout and presentation of the book would suggest that action learning is not applied to publications from IMC.
Not recommended.
