The ISO 9000:2000 series of standards have changed and, in order to maintain certification, companies worldwide have until December 2003 to implement the new requirements if they are to retain their certification.
Time is money and even understanding the changes is time consuming. However, help is on hand. With the ISO 9000:2000 Transition Tool, the changes are immediately apparent. But it does much more than just identify these changes. It allows you to project manage and record electronically:
- what needs to be done;
who is responsible for doing it;
the deadline for completion of the action;
the workload involved in actual hours or as an estimate (high, medium and low).
Need to estimate the costs of the transition?
It is often useful to be able to put a bottom line cost to the work involved. The tool does this for you. By entering your company's standard operating expenditure into the Costs table, the required budget, to meet the transition, will be calculated.
Who's not doing what they were tasked to do?
One of the key benefits of using this product is the management of implantation. Tasks are assigned to individuals or departments and a deadline date is placed upon completion. The tool automatically identifies any actions as they become overdue and which department or individual has responsibility. This enables deadlines to be managed effectively.
Ease of use
There is no need for additional training for this product as it has been developed using Microsoft Office as an Application development tool. Therefore, basic generic Microsoft Office skills are the only prerequisite.
