Insight: CPD engagement for over two thirds of professionals, says CIPP

cpd

The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has found following a recent poll that 68% of professionals regularly or occasionally engage with training, qualifications and general CPD for their profession.

Although this is a promising figure, the CIPP would like to gain greater understanding of attitudes towards training and development from professionals working payroll, finance and accounting and HR. The CIPP has a big focus on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in 2012 due to the introduction of automatic enrolment and Real Time Information.
Therefore the CIPP has designed a Learning and Development survey looking into why professionals in general may not undertake training and qualifications regularly and how much opportunity professionals get through their employer.
For all organisations the introduction of automatic enrolment will pose the question on how payroll, finance and HR will work together to achieve an end result and for most organisations the question is being asked as to where the responsibility lies.
To take part in the CIPP survey which will be open until 3 February please click here
