#TZL12: Booking form launched

logo

Excitement is building for TrainingZone Live, our live event that sashays into its third year of existence on 15 May at Dexter House this year.
The L&D market is awash with events that cater for the every need and whim of an increasingly diverse training industry. With this in mind, it's ever more important to create something unique to stand out from the crowd. Now approaching its difficult third album, the TrainingZone orchestra has put together another great line up of ensemble players and they're starting to tune up. Tenuous metaphors aside...
Based on feedback sessions, community insight and the simple exercise of observing and remembering what worked and what didn't, this year's event combines a few returning favourites, a few new faces and the same intimate feel as the previous two years. Here's the exciting part: Today at midday we launch the event booking form that gives delegates the opportunity to select the workshops that they want to go to. This is a process that is as interactive as it is bespoke, and aims to create a personal experience for all the delegates attending this year.
But before you start doing that, check out the list of workshop leaders and get a feel for what you could learn, and who you could meet. Here is a sample of the speakers and workshop leaders on the day:
  • Former Olympic silver medallist Steve Backley OBE will be delivering the closing keynote about how to deliver Olympic performance in the workplace.
  • L&D guru Jim Kirkpatrick will be holding an exclusive three-hour workshop on Kirkpatrick levels 3 and 4, which has never been done before - a UK first.
  • Jennifer Holloway, one of the most popular speakers of last year, returns with a new extended two-hour workshop after feedback from last year's event clearly showed delegates were enthusiastic for a longer session from the personal branding expert.
  • Heather Townsend, a regular blogger for TrainingZone and recently FT-published author, will be giving delegates some insight into her specialist subject - networking (both on- and off-line)
  • Nick Shackleton-Jones, formerly of the BBC and now at BP, will be talking about informal learning, disaggregated media and social learning.

This is a small sample of the delights on offer at the event, so have a good look around and see what takes your fancy. Add to this the small intimate expo, the networking opportunities and the wonderful TZ staff and you've got yourself a training event that's a little bit different!

One of the other key things that makes this event not like the others is also that we limit each workshop to 30 people meaning that neither yours nor the workshop leader's voice is lost in the room. You get more contact and  better engagement.

So if you haven't got your ticket yet, get it today!
