Global Knowledge Network, the USA-based IT training provider, announced the launch of Professional Skills,
a new division of their training portfolio on Monday.
The Professional Skills curriculum aims to complement the company's existing portfolio of IT training courses,
and has been designed to address the growing needs of its customers for training across-the-board, not only for technical skills but also business skills.
Global Knowledge have identified four key business skill areas they feel are essential; project management, systems development, consultancy and interpersonal skills. The training they provide in these areas will all be based on the application of industry best practice.
All courses have been accredited by a number of professional bodies, including the Institute of Management Consultancy and the Institution of Analysts and Programmers.
The Professional Skills curriculum will be rolled out at the beginning of May, with the first course starting on 9th May 2000.
