I’m so glad to see that members have noticed our recent new banner proclaiming that we are the independent champion of training, learning & development.
We are keen as an organisation to do more to promote all forms of training, L&D and to get more involved in the community which we represent. For example, we would love to organise a networking event in London and would welcome members thoughts, ideas and suggestions on this. Is this something that you would welcome and attend? Are there any companies or organisations that would be willing to help us achieve this?
We are also supporting the Learn Direct awards this year, we hope to have a greater (and hopefully more practical) input at Learning Technologies next January, we are discussing a range of member benefits with various companies that we hope will be attractive to all concerned (again, let us know if you would like to get involved) and hope to work more closely with key organisations representing our members.
Any other thoughts, ideas and suggestions as to what you the members would like from TrainingZone, then do please let us know – it’s a good time to air your thoughts as we are planning a redesign of the site and would welcome members input.
Thankyou to everyone for you continued support – it’s great to know that the efforts of Claire Savage, myself and the rest of the TrainingZone team are appreciated.
We continue to work towards making the site a hub for the training, learning & development community.
Kind regards

Championing Training
Hi Suzie,
I would be very supportive of a networking event for the community, it’s so nice to be able to meet people face to face. How about a couple of regional ones too for those of us who don’t live near London? I would be happy to help organise it if you need it.
Kind Regards,
Sharon
