Can anyone recommend any case studies that I can use as secondary data for my CIPD management research report. I need a few cases studies that show different HR approaches that organisations have used in past recessions.

I have recently been writing an e-book about “managing survivors of downsizing” by googling that phrase you will get masses of articles about, and references to, books and studies about this subject. Some relate to the value (or lack of it) of downsizing. Many contain case study material.
This may not be tailor made for your needs but I’m sure that you will find a lot of useful stuff.
