To conclude a 'leadership devekopment programme' I am required to write an assignment on my learning reflections throughout the course. However, it has been a disappointing experience, as a trainer myself I can spot poor deliverey - some of my own wasn't always the best! So my reflections on this programme are largely how not to deliver leadership development, how group expectations and aspirations diminish in response, my own attempt to frame negative feedback positively and my decision to minimise my involvement.
Is anyone aware of any studies of learners reactions and behaviour to poor learning experiences?
