Hello
Can anyone recommend any particular piece of software that can be used to create my own e-learning?
I am looking for something that will take screen shots, allow interactivity by asking trainees to click on certain areas, ask questions, and present them with text to read etc.
If anyone has any good (or bad!) experiences to share I would be pleased to hear them!
Thanks
Lucy

Captivate or Articulate
Hello Lucy,
I would recommend either Captivate or Articulate. Both packages allow you to produce Scorm output, so that you can link them to a Learning Management System. Captivate 3 probably has the edge over Articulate in that it has branching capabilities i.e more flexibility. Captivate allows you to easily capture screen shots or screen animations (track your mouse movements) Both have interactive elements that you can incorporate i.e during the course learning games and end of course tracked quizzes. Both can import flash animations and powerpoint slides.
If you need any help with instructional design, content development, graphic design and animation, then please get in contact:
