Has anyone completed the Certificate in Training Practice from CIPD?
My Management Report is the only remaining item and I seem to have hit a mental block. Unfortunately I have no one else at work who has completed the program with the same provider and unfortunately I feel that I have reached the tutorial limit of the provider themselves.
I really do wish to complete this and any constructive help, hints, exemplars would be gratefully received.

Hi John, what would help you to overcome the mental block? Have you chosen your subject yet? Is it the layout which is causing difficulty? Do you know where to research your material? I’m unsure as to what would help you so a couple of hints would be welcome! 🙂
Management Report – CIPD Certificte in Training Practice

This is the first time I have encountered a Management Report and am concerned that I may get it wrong or lacking.
I have my research materialand, written a Management Report Proposal and had my subject approved.
The question I have is what next? I looked for examples of Management Reports for CTP on the web and my provider doesn’t have any. I was hoping to see an outlay of one to gauge delivery and impact.
Also I was hoping to see what an assessor will look for to get the best possible mark (I have generic assesssment criteria for marking but I feel that is the problem….it is just too generic!!).
I have approached numerous individuals for help and unfortunately it is a very busy time for everyone and the professional fees are past my personal budget (my organisation who sponsored me will not pay for additonal tuition).
I feel that my documentation is pretty good and thorough. The problem is my first assignment was sent back to me even though it was reviewed by other individuals who judged it as satisfactory. The feedback was quite limited.
Any pointers on where to look for information would be gratefully appreciated.

The CIPD produce Generic Assessment Criteria for CTP and this could help.

Many thanks for answering my post. No, it is definitely not too late…..my submission is at the end of this month so I have 9 days left.
