Training management software

default-16x9

A few years ago I worked for Nissan where we used an excellent LMS system to manage dealder training called Registrar. Does anyone know the nwme of the company who distribute it or the name of a system that is designed to manage learning for cumtomers and can handle a number of different languages?

Thanks for your help.

I’ve used Registrar before and Training Manager Pro. They are very similar in the way you setup and organise your training.

I’m not sure what happened to Registrar but you can get Training Manager Pro from http://www.trmp.com. I’m afraid I don’t know how good the multilingual support is as I never used it.

    Thanks

  2. Registrar
    Dear Graham

For those of us with long memories, back in 2000 Silton-Bookman’s Registrar product claimed to have 60 percent of the instructor-led learning management software market, largely in the USA.

Pathlore Software and Silton-Bookman Systems merged in February 2000.

In October 2004 Sumtotal acquired Pathlore.

Hence Registrar is now a SumTotal product.

    See:

    http://www.pathlore.com/customer/products/registrar/index.asp#

However, Sumtotal will want to sell you one of their current mainstream products, one of which would no doubt meet your needs.

There are a range of other enterprise LMS systems that you could consider from other vendors, depending on issues like budget, your choice of HR Information System etc.

    Regards

  3. LMS & content for dealer training
    Dear Graham,

Edvantage group have been working with Volvo, Scania Volkwagen and Saab to deploy a Learning Management System called Learning Gateway. All of these companies needed a solution for dealership training that could be translated into 14 different languages.

Please contact me if you would like to know more.
