Can anyone recommend a course for Line Managers who don't necessarily need to know everything about the law but just how to use it in the course of their role as managers of people?
Thanks,

Hi Cherry.
I’m not sure where you’re based, but EEF NorthWest do a course called “Employment Law for Managers and Supervisors”.
Best of luck!

Employment Law for line Managers
Hi
We use the CIPD courses for this, open and in house. They are good programmes and keep up to date with the current changes in legislation, and how these impact in a practical way on the line manager.
Details are on the CIPD website.

They cover the subject really well bringing in all discrimination statutes, the latest changes to the law and a commentary about expected developments. They also have a skill set exercise for delegates to identify what they have and what they need to deal with employment law situations
