E-Learning Provider

default-16x9

Hello all,

I am trying to get some providers who will be able to design some e-learning modules for our company. The focus is really on Sales and Marketing topics such as coaching, behavioural interviewing etc. We would like to send them some material and then the provider would then turn it into an e-learning module. The focus would be on up to date learning methods and engaging the viewer through a variety of learning materials that would be motivating for the user.

Has anyone used some good e-learning providers they could recommend? Thanks
Kirsty Hall

  1. Information Transfer
    Hi Kirsty!

I’m sure you’ll get lots of good recommendations, but I’d like to suggest you contact a company I know well, Information Transfer.

They’ve been winning lots of industry awards lately too for their custom e-learning projects, which speak volumes for the effectiveness of their work.

My contact there is Cathy Curwood and feel free to mention my name when you call.

Obviously I have to declare an interest but in my defence, 100% of our clients would recommend us to others!

  3. Custom eLearning Solutions
    Hi Kirsty,

While planning to make your training available online, you may wish to consider the following:

Most learners’ perception of eLearning is dull, uninspiring and ineffective.

Ensuring that your online training is engaging and relevant to your audience will pay dividends.

When selecting a custom learning solutions supplier you should ensure that their focus is on achieving your wider business objectives, not just on transposing your materials into an online experience.

    Hope this helps Kirsty.

    Regards,

    David Lloyd

  4. Up to date learning methods and engaging
    Kirsty

If you are looking for something trully engaging using the latest learning methods can I suggest you look at the immersive learning simulation providers such as http://www.pixelearning.com. Sometimes referred to as “serious games”, immersive simulations teach the learner using a variety of materials (written, audio, video, avatars etc) to create the feeling of learning by doing in as realistic environment as possible. This approach is ideal for a competitive sales and marketing team and is far more productive than traditional eLearning.

If you would like to see some examples or discuss please feel free to email me at richard.smith@pixelearning.com

    Good luck on your hunt

    Richard

  5. http://www.epic.co.uk
    Hi Kirsty

In my experience Sales and Marketing are notoriously competitive environments full of people with short attention spans. You might want to think about creating a ‘toolkit’ of fun, punchy e-learning modules which acted as ‘just in time’ support, rather than more ‘traditional’ e-learning materials.

Send me an email: sarahax@epic.co.uk and I’ll give you a log in to our secure portal which holds examples of some of the hundreds of programmes we have made, which will show you the type of learning that is possible.

    Best wishes

    Sarah
