Can anyone recommend/suggest companies/websites to obtain infromation on implementing a staff survery to gauge some of the following:-
Motivation, Communication within the business, suggestions for improvement, how people are being managed, issues etc..
We are a manufacturing company with over 1200 employees, I would like to focus the survey on our sales and service force first, then roll it out to the other staff on site.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

staff survey
Hi Buffy,
We have previously conducted staff surveys with a variety of companies including manufacturing organisations.
Happy to talk you through our process which utilises online or paper based surveys, interviews and presentations of results and recommendations for development action.
Look forward to hearing from you

Staff Survey
Hi Buffy
IIP UK have an online support tool which includes a survey – though in theory IIP focussed it covers what you are looking for. Also an Easiquest user should have a survey. You can get some good examples through most HR consultants ( though of course they may a fee for supplying – but on the plus side they can often carry out the whole collation and analysis for you for a reasonable price!)
Recommendation…
Buffy,
We have recently completed our own employee opinion survey using an external resource.
The company we used (equalta) were excellent throughout the process and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
Feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to discuss. My number is 020 7743 0827.
Regards,
Marcus.
Thank you
Many thanks to the responses I’ve had to my question, you’re help and suggestions are very much appreciated.
Thank you

If you look at the standards for IIP they cover just about everything that you have listed and would be an excellent benchmark to start your own analysis of your organisation. And an added bonus would be measuring the organisation against National Standards and setting yourself up for the IIP Award.
