I want to help a company set their team/company values/norms. There are 20 in the team with differing views. The team are not used to expressing themselves and the person heading the company is a very powerful person who has a tendency to take over meetings although I have discussed this with him & asked him to question rather than comment at the next session. Does anyone know an effective tool to use?

Hi Ellie,
I’ve worked with groups to develop values based on beliefs. I use a number of exercises to get them there during the day’s session.
With the manager and the team members, you would seem to have a facilitation issue as well.
Please contact me. I can go over some of the problems and highlights I’ve had. They may give you some ideas.
